St. Francis Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our, multi-doctor, full-service practice in convenient Staten Island, NY. The ideal applicant will be an enthusiastic team member who enjoys a busy caseload. We feature digital radiography with telemedicine reports, full in-house laboratory, surgery suite, and full line of pharmaceuticals/diets. The Associate Veterinarian educates clients on, advocates for and strives to deliver the highest quality medical, surgical, dental and nutritional diagnostics, treatment, and preventative care to companion animals. Skills and Requirements A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university. Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate is to be employed. Professional comportment and appearance, with excellent people skills and a positive, friendly attitude. The expertise to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow teammates.
