Fabrication Operator/Quality Assurance - (Evansville, IN)

The fabrication operator will be setting up and operating certain aspects of a fabrication line. Applicants would also ensure that product quality is maintained to meet workplace standards. Essential Duties Include: -Preparation and movement of raw, in-process and finished material. -Unloading the bender and straightener -Capping of product -Packaging finished product from welder, straightener, folder & paint line. -Visual/Quality inspection of in process and finished product to ensure no bends or defects in the product. -Record data on specified quality defect characteristics. Pay: $15.08/hr Once hired permanent (or go union), contractors will have the opportunity to bid on other jobs in the facility that can start pay at $19.88/hr depending on which shift they go to, and position responsibilities. Contract-to-Hire: 60 Working Day, Contract-to-Permanent Hire Shift/Schedule: Applicants should be able to work all 3 shifts first/second/third. first Shift - 7A - 3P M-F second Shift - 3P - 11P M-F
