Transportation Payroll Coordinator - (Arlington, TN)

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: The Transportation Payroll Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the compilation of the Transportation component payroll. This position also completes tasks at the end of each week to ensure the Trasnportation department understands the expense that had been paid the drivers for each current pay period. The Payroll Coordinator will conduct a review of incoming time record details to ensure payroll processing accuracy. This role performs data entry, both on internal systems and in response to external inquiries. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Review payroll timekeeping system for missing data and any potential errors prior to sending it on for payroll team review and sign off. • Responsible for the research required for each exception presented on the drivers manual component pay sheets. The research is conducted by reviewing the logs from the ELD for each trip. • Responsible for the entry of Transportation Component Pay exceptions.
