Module Editor/Page Designer Lee Enterprises is looking for a journalist who believes words are as important as visuals when presenting the news. In this role, a module editor will use his or her skills in news judgment, headline writing, copy editing, and design to produce nightly wire packages to engage readers. Ideal applicants are deadline-oriented and able to multitask effectively. They have the confidence to make newsworthy content decisions, have an appreciation and understanding of current events and the expertise to identify topics our team can develop into larger projects. Background with daily newspaper design and production is preferred. Members of our team produce a variety of work in a collaborative environment. Effective communication and written correspondence skills, effective time management and comfort with the Adobe Creative Suite are required; must be familiar with AP style and grammar rules. The position is full time with evening and weekend hours.
