Protect Immigrant Rights or Help Empower People fighting poverty with Avodah's - (Chicago, IL)

Applications are now open for the Avodah Jewish Service Corps , a year-long program for recent college grads to build a lifetime of leadership skills, an active Jewish community, a powerful professional network, and a more just America. Placements currently open in Chicago include: Immigrant Legal Defense Project Fellow with the National Immigrant Justice Center (Support non-detained low-income immigrants in a wide variety of immigration cases,Spanish required) Asset Building Program Associate with Heartland Human Care Services (Helping participants who are formerly homeless and low income single women build their financial assets, Spanish a plus) The Avodah Jewish Service Corps provides recent grads a place to build the foundations for careers, Jewish community, and lifelong activism in social and economic justice movements.
