Maintenance Technician - Knoxville, TN (Evenings) - (Knoxville, TN)

PURPOSE AND SCOPE: Maintain all utilities, production equipment and support systems throughout the plant and operate equipment and systems to provide critical utilities such as WFI, distilled water, steam, compressed air, reverse osmosis systems, boilers systems throughout the plant. DUTIES / ACTIVITIES: Repair, maintain and operate utility systems as required. Operate equipment to ensure adequate production of utilities within Quality Assurance limits. Perform chemical testing to assure quality protection and safety of utilities. Perform plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs. Perform cleaning on utility equipment, utilizing chemicals where needed with the expertise to proper handle and prepare cleaning agents. Responsible for following current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in performing above duties. Other Technicians look to this position as well as supervisory/management positions for technical info, skills and leadership.
