Driver Training Specialist - (Liberty, MO)

American Central Transport is a premium service truckload carrier serving major shippers throughout the eastern half of the United States and has a Full-time opening for a Driver Training Specialist in Liberty, MO. The Driver Training Specialist is responsible for coaching up low performing Drivers with the overall goal to retain and improve performance. This individual will focus on the bottom ten percent of miles per gallon (mpg) fuel performers which will have the biggest bottom line improvement for American Central Transport. Additional areas of focus will be added once overall mpg numbers have improved. Essential Duties: Work with Operations and Maintenance to identify, mentor and train lowest performing drivers around mpg, speed management and on-time delivery. Develop and execute action plans to focus on mpg improvement for bottom ten percent of fleet.
