Job Designation The Engineer II, Mechanical provides extended ability in developing, designing and testing a broad range of mechanical products per qualifications and specifications. Performs mechanical development and integration assignments. Job Core Responsibilities Mechanical Engineering design including: Electronic Packaging Design of Aerospace Hardware CAD design (sheet metal, machined parts, plastic parts, castings) Drawing packages Weight analysis Assembly documents BOM part selections Engineering Change Orders Building of prototypes Perform mechanical and environmental testing Technical Reports Other Mechanical Design related Output items Basic working understanding of FEA analysis and thermal analysis tools
