The Senior Buyer is responsible for purchasing and planning materials, components, and/or services consistent with specified levels of quality, delivery, price and total cost. Exercising judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Responsibilities: Procures assigned parts, materials, supplies, equipment and services required for operation of business Contacts suppliers, obtains and evaluates quotations, places orders, and maintains constant communication to ensure timely deliveries Negotiates contracts as needed to purchase material and services
