Commercial Liability Claims Representative - (Columbus, OH)

Investigates, evaluates and negotiates settlement of commercial liability claims with the goal of serving the customer and ensuring quality file handling. KEY FUNCTIONS: 1. Pursuant to Company line of business strategies and good faith claim settlement practices: investigates, evaluates, negotiates and settles (within authorized limits) commercial liability claims. 2. Establishes and maintains positive relationships with both internal and external customers providing excellent customer service. Qualifications High-school degree or equivalent education and background required. Bachelor's degree in related position preferred. 3 Yrs commercial liability claims handling background preferred. Must possess effective communication and organization skills and expertise to work with personal computer. Demonstrated expertise to interact with people in a professional manner, determine coverage, investigate and determine liability needed.
