Job overview We are seeking a research assistant to support the Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune to perfrom the following activities: 1 Execute and provide maintenance on research studies. Carry out tasks related to research studies as required by investigator. two Maintain files and records of ongoing research projects. three Recruit and telephone screen subjects. four Communicate with research subjects; via telephone or in person and ask relevant research questions as per protocol. five Arrange for research subject follow-up. six Assist with research subject visits. seven Perform selected research subject visit duties, for example, presenting questionnaires and collecting demographics. eight Perform data collection as per protocol nine Enter data into Excel and Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) databases (if applicable). ten Transfer data from questionnaires and data sheets to the databases. eleven Prepare progress reports.
