Information System Security Officer - (Ashburn, VA)

Responsibilities The Info System Security Officer (ISSO) will ensure that management, operational and technical controls for securing customer and corporate IT systems are in place and followed. The ISSO will ensure that appropriate steps are taken to implement details security requirements. Requirements Must have: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Info Assurance, Math, or Engineering or equivalent background. 6 or more years of relevant background. Background in Info System Security Ideally, you’ll also have: CISSP, CISM or similar certifications and credentials Supporting Certification and Accreditation activities by developing the overall System Security Document and the Info Systems Security Plan which contains all necessary procedures, instructions, operating plans and guidance. The ISSO will also implement and monitor these plans.
