Senior Quality Engineer (231498) - (Fort Mill, SC)

Job assignments: Responsible for quality control processes for stamping and toolroom areas. Improve plant performance on quality costs and parts per million of returns. Participate in machine acceptance (Gage R&R), process capability, and run-at-rate studies. Review and decide appropriate control plans, taking into account the process PFMEA and AIAG standards. Ensure all metrology lab equipment is in proper service. Responsible for daily material disposition for sixteen press machines. Participate in daily Shopfloor Management meetings with escalation of critical issues. Prioritize and assign task with staff as required. Coordinate and schedule training for staff. Participate and coordinate continuous improvement meetings with all functions within the facility. Define acceptance/disposition parameters for parts produced by Stamping/Press and Toolroom areas. Requires domestic and international travel up to 10% of time to various locations that cannot be anticipated.
