Junior Programmer - (Freeport, IL)

As a Junior Programmer, you will be working on Digital Intent’s production development team, building and testing web and native mobile applications utilizing JavaScript (React), HTML5, CSS, PHP, Swift, and Java. This is an entry level opportunity offering potential for advancement into further development roles within Digital Intent. You will work under the guidance of senior programmers and work with UI/UX designers to build a variety of types of applications. Your daily work will include: Write new code from specifications written by engineers and project leads. Write automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests. Support existing code by fixing bugs or refactoring. Document processes and code. Perform all other assigned tasks in support of development team. Be on-call after hours for support on a rotating basis (as needed). You should: Enjoy writing clean, documented code. “But it works” is not always good enough!
