Region Sales Manager Capital Equipment - (Kansas City, MO)

Region Sales Manager Job overview: The Region Sales Manager is responsible for an annual sales volume from a specified geography, managing a manufacturer's representative sales force. Specific functions include: 1) Develop rep sales targets; manage reps to accomplish sales targets, 2) Prepare market analysis of volume potential; industry & customer targets; competitors, 3) Call on customer accounts, make sales presentations, close orders, 4) Interface with direct salespeople, inside sales, engineering & others to accomplish sales plan.Education/Background Sought: Bachelor's degree required; engineering degree strongly preferred. Min of five years' process background in capital equipment sales. Background in pneumatic conveying or air filtration systems strongly preferred. Up to 40% travel.
