System Engineer I - Intel Platform Services - (Roanoke, VA)

Researches, implements, and supports new Info Technologies to increase server systems operational efficiencies. Manages corporate server based systems, projects, and problem resolution requiring the participation of multiple specialized teams. Job Scope: Frequently interacts with other IT teams on server system hardware and software projects. Researches, implements, and educates peers on new technologies. Coordinates and performs daily problem resolution supporting server system hardware/software issues in a fast-paced IT environment. Independent and group project work. Installs and maintains server systems; including but not limited to Microsoft Server Operating Systems, Citrix Presentation Server / XenApp, Citrix Provisioning Server, VMWare ESX, and Red Hat Linux. Additional skills include Microsoft Exchange, Sharepoint, SQL, enterprise server management, and enterprise system security.
