Sanitation Manager The Sanitation Manager oversees and directs sanitation and cleaning functions throughout the facility. Leadership of sanitation employees. Ensures new hires are properly trained. Maintains a safe working atmosphere and ensures GMPs are followed. Responsible for proper record keeping and documentation as required. Duties Provide direction to sanitation associates in the cleaning and sanitizing of food processing equipment, floors, walls, ceilings, restrooms, and break areas. Trains crew members on chemical manufacturers recommendation for application of cleaning chemicals Insure effective cleaning through proper training and visual inspection. Complete and maintain verification paperwork. Perform pre-operation inspections with Production Managers. Determine the suitability of applicants for hire. Understand and implement safety procedures and GMPs. Responsible for ensuring current SOPs are followed.
