What you will get to do: The Provider Contract Manager is responsible for the management of contract activities for assigned provider groups. This includes but not limited to the development and execution of contract negotiation strategies, provider relation, alternative contracting and financial strategy that supports the organizations market strategies and financial objectives. The Provider Contract Manager is required to identify and cultivate key provider relationships. The Provider Contract Manager may mentor less experienced professionals and be a subject matter expert to the team. The processes performed in the Network Management department are fundamental to delivering cost-effective, accessible care to subscribers. It is critically important that the contracting negotiating process be compliant with regulatory and accreditation requirements, company policies and procedures, as well as consistency with strategic objectives.
