Video editor/motion graphic designer - (Washington, DC)

The Video Editor/Motion Graphic Designer works with the design team as needed to create engaging graphics and video that drive people to action. This position is a part time, independent contracted position that works remotely on an as-needed basis. Assignments include: Create and edit web videos from start to finish Design motion graphics and text for videos Work on a variety of motion projects from composited text and graphics over footage to completely animated videos Find and manage stock video and B-roll, voiceover artists and experience sound Create motion graphics for platforms like Facebook Produce quality deliverables in a fast-paced workplace environment Communicate and collaborate with a team to come up with design strategy and direction Requirements, Knowledge & Skills Required: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Cinema 4D, and/or Final Cut Pro Superior attention to detail Quick editing skills with an eye for type and design fundamentals
