Food Service: Dish Machine Operator- LOCATION - San Diego, California - (San Diego, CA)

Description The DMOs' (Dish Machine Operator) job is 1 of the most important jobs in the restaurant. You are responsible for making sure that everything another team player uses and everything that a guest touches is CLEAN, DRY, and SANITARY. No other team player's job has a wider range of impact than the DMO's job. Your job includes providing clean, dry, and sanitary dishes, utensils and equipment, also stocking and maintaining storerooms and walk-ins and performing product preparation work. Position duties: Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine. Sort and stack clean dishes. Carries clean dishes to proper storage areas. Rewashes soiled dishes before delivering. Remove trash and garbage to dumpster. Set up or break down dishwashing area. Clean and roll/unroll mats. Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions. Sweep/mop floors. Sweep up trash around exterior of restaurant and garbage dumpster.
