Description The purpose is to service, maintain, repair and adjust machinery at plant facilities, to safely operate and maximize production. To direct assigned associates with technical and mechanical knowledge. Responsibilities #1 Perform regular adjustments, calibrations, and repair work in response to department demands both during production and non-production hours. . #2 Respond to emergency break downs and needs in a timely manner within OSHA Lockout/Tagout and Perdue safety regulations . #3 Holds operational knowledge of assigned plant areas. #4 Responds to processing needs and requests on an prioritized basis, through work assignments issued by management. #5 Performs maintenance functions as directed by management and directing associates assigned to crew. #6 Identifies and reports any violations of the Perdue Safety and Conduct policy to management for any corrective action that may be needed. #7 Assume duties of Lead associate in the event of vacation, sick or absent.
