Underwriting Team Leader - (Roseville, CA)

Overview The purpose of this position is to lead the underwriting and production efforts of a regional team of commercial underwriters in an assigned geography or regional sales territory. The Underwriting Team Leader is responsible for day-to-day production, underwriting quality, account management and referral authority. This position is responsible for the direction and management of up to 4 direct reports, including small to middle market production underwriters. The Underwriting Team Leader provides technical direction to Commercial Lines team in the interpretation of Commercial Lines underwriting policies and procedures. This includes, but is not limited to, direct responsibility for new and existing business, acceptance, declination, workflow, department procedures, and proper application of corporate underwriting policies, procedures and compliance with Insurance regulations.
