Engineering Manager - Direct Hire - (Nashville, TN)

We have an immediate opening for an Engineering Manager to direct engineering support for current production and launch of operations for new products. The perfect applicant will be able to act in a leadership role to facilitate the smooth integration of new equipment and processes into our manufacturing facility.Key responsibilities: Direct the efforts of manufacturing, controls, and welding engineers in the functions of supporting current production and preparing for new launch. Develop detailed plans for all aspects of launch relating to Engineering and coordinate planning activity with other plant departments. Assist with program equipment specification, PFMEA development, and establishing standard work processes. Coordinate installation of new programs and engineering changes. Assist in resolving ongoing quality and manufacturing issues. Coordinate changes to plant layout. Support customer documentation requirements.
