Position description Supervises 1 or more aspects of Corporate Operationswithin a designated department of TCF Corporate Operations. This includesprimary responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day performance of departmentfunctions, in an efficient and cost-effective manner, to meet corporateguidelines and objectives. Major Areas of Accountability * Supervises and participates in all department activities,which includes setting priorities, providing work direction, monitoringperformance and motivating staff. * Handles employee relations functions includinginterviewing and hiring staff, training employees, conducting performancereviews, resolving any personnel issues which arise, and handling anydisciplinary actions. * Assists in developing and maintaining department policiesand procedures * Resolves difficult or more complex problems or situationsarising in the department.
