Activities and Volunteer Coordinator – Alexian Village of Milwaukee – Independent Living PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Activities Coordinator Develops and facilitates daily events and programming to meet the needs of the residents Builds relationships with residents Update in-house TELEVISION Channel Schedule Birthday Parties and entertainment Review resident requests Schedule 4-5 trips per month and oversees regular ongoing events Art Carousel oversight Absentee voting coordination Hosts several movie times per day Maintains all calendars, fliers and communications for events Bills residents for trips and extra events Handles all room reservations for the campus Leads a weekly memory class (1 hour per week) Coordinates events for St. Alexius Week Other duties as assigned Volunteer Coordinator Recruits, trains, schedules and supervises all volunteers Orientation assistance Prepares and maintains procedural and training manuals
