Buyer Job International manufacturer of specialty adhesive products is currently seeking a BUYER for a direct hire opportunity in the North/Central North Carolina area. Must have strong procurement skills and proven ability of achieving cost savings high supplier service levels. Relocation benefits is offered for qualified candidates. Responsibilities for the Buyer Conduct inventory checks and assist with reconciliation efforts and inventory adjustments Daily monitoring of raw materials and other essential items. Procurement of trial materials Root cause corrective action with suppliers and claim resolution. Maintain inventory of shipping and packaging materials Negotiatie pricing with vendors Investigate customer complaints Qualifications for the Buyer Bachelors Degree in Business or related position 5+ year background managing inventories in a plant environment including raw materials/chemicals/packaging supplies Strong procurement skills Expertise no negotiate pricing with vendors Benefits
