Software QA Engineer - (Plainview, NY)

You will work with Software development and Hardware Engineering in the development of processes and procedures that improve quality and performance of new software and firmware. Update and enhance existing software quality assurance audit procedures for consistency with software development procedural qualifications. You will have the opportunity to participate in technical reviews, meetings and discussions with software development and other technical disciplines to achieve these goals: Software qualifications are accurately and completely defined and documented for new products. Software design documentation is sufficiently detailed for user needs Coding complies with coding standards. Software product testing is documented, controlled, and adequately verifies the design qualifications. Any open issues are resolved prior to software package releases.
