Quality Assurance Technician Job summary: Perform analytical, physical, and micro testing on food products and ingredients. This individual must be self-motivated, have strong leadership skills and works well in a team setting. Collect line samples on an hourly basis for routine micro, analytical testing and retention. Inspects caps, labels, date codes, shelf life and performs tests on incoming ingredients. 60% lab testing and 40% production floor testing. Files daily production and QC log sheets. Conduct ATP swabbing. Conduct GMP audits. Monitor cooler and freezer Conducts daily instruments up-keep and standardization/calibration. temperatures.
