Technician-Color Blend - Color Compounding - Plant 70 (Bainbridge - (Bainbridge, GA)

Position summary: Mixes post blends with no contamination or waste. Must post blend all color concentrate produced during assigned shift in a safe and efficient manner. Responsibilities: Finished product is free of contamination. Finished product is consistently the correct color shade, correct pellet form and size. Reviews work in process at beginning of shift and plans qualifications for the shift. Cleans mixers and holding tanks during the shift as needed. Measures the amount of Anti-Stat based on the amount of pounds and adds to post blend. Makes all boxes as needed. Notifies Lead immediately of any unexpected occurrence, mistakes, or equipment malfunctions. Discharges all post blends into the appropriate container after the mixing time has completed based on the product being mixed. Enters production into Shaw Color System. Weighs all containers using the proper tare weight. Records the weight on the pre-mix sheet. Prints production labels and labels boxes.
