Process Engineer - II (Associate) - (Elkton, VA)

Support for the start-up of sterile antibiotic API production facility includes: • Floor support for engineering runs, media challenges, and validation runs • Execute PQ protocols and close-out documentation. • Assist with equipment troubleshooting and technical investigations. Quals-- • A degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and 3 to 8yrs of process industry background is required. • Aseptic process background plus in-depth knowledge of GMP documentation and cGMP operations is required • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills or background is required • Start-up will be a 24/7 operation; shift work is required • Background with Delta V control platform is desirable • Start-up background is desirable • NOTE: The area may have low levels of antibiotic powder. The applicant cannot have known sensitivity to antibiotics.
