Technical Illustrator I - (Warner Robins, GA)

Summary: Technical Illustrators are responsible for preparation of all types of illustration for USMC Technical Manuals ( TMs ). Technical Illustrators must be able to interpret Level III engineering drawings for conversion into TO compatible line drawings, convert halftones (photo's) into line drawings and prepare exploded views of equipment to use in the parts breakdown for dis -assembly/assembly instructions. Technical Illustrators must be able to interpret sketches from engineers, technical writers, and covert TO illustrations and perform other duties as assigned. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties and Responsibilities consist of but are not limited to the following: Must be familiar with, and be able to utilize standard industry illustration software; Perform Quality Control and Proofing; Ensure Illustration work meets Mil-Spec/customer qualifications; Perform Follow-Up Corrections; Prepare info as required
