Our client, a family-owned pharmaceutical company in Bellevue, WA is looking for a Microbiologist to perform testing at their headquarters facility. Education/Background: •BS in Microbiology or relevant background Requirements: The perfect candidate should be comfortable with basic microbiological techniques including: 1. Using a microscope 2. Gram's Staining 3. Biochemical Identification Tests (oxidase, catalase and KOH) 4. Plate counting 5. Serial Dilutions 6. Aseptic Techniques 7. Inoculating Agar Plates and Broth 8. Using a pipette aseptically 9. Preparation of agar media, broths and buffers. 10. Pouring plates 11. Isolating organisms from the environment 12. Environmental sampling techniques 13. Streaking colonies for isolation 14. Using an autoclave 15.
