Job ID: 3731 Position summary: True Value Manufacturing, a leading manufacturer of architectural paints, aerosols, solvents & paint applicators has an immediate opening for a Sr. Chemist in our Cary, IL manufacturing facility. The Sr. Chemist applies advanced scientific principles to the formulation of materials to create new architectural latex coating related products and/or refine current coating products. Takes the technical lead with little or no technical supervision for research, analysis, and experimentation on products, raw materials, and technology for such purposes as product and process development, improvement and application. Works closely with sales/marketing in the creation, design of coatings products. Interfaces with manufacturing for efficiencies and successful product scale up. Provides leadership, training and guidance to junior chemists and technicians. Position responsibilities:
