This position is critical to meeting the contract service level agreement related to pharmacy benefits management. The Pharmacy Benefits Manager play a key role in coordinating SmartPA and Prescription Drug Card System activities with the State of Montana, monitoring, completion of requests and identifying improvements to the process. Duties and Responsibilities\: Acts as a coordinator with Montana Medicaid, its pharmacy benefits contractors, Xerox Smart PA, MMIS and PDCS x2 representatives including but not limited to the following duties\: interfaces on all issues and solutions manages reporting and disseminates reports and details monitors transparency/payment issues acts as resource on pharmacy claims adjudication, drug pricing, or reimbursement for any pharmacy claim.
