Applications Engineer - (Grand Rapids, MI)

Position details: The Applications Engineer provides technical product and application info, support, and quotations to internal and external customers. In addition, the Applications Engineer conveys customer requirements for uniquely configured product to Product Engineering and Customer Service for Design and Sales order Entry. The Applications Engineer conducts training to regional sales staff, distribution and end users as required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provides in-depth technical info and support to distributors and/or end-users who require assistance with system design and technical troubleshooting. Utilize technical knowledge to provide rapid, accurate and efficient answers to incoming inquiries. Position mandates excellent time organizational skills to handle large volume of phone an e-mail inquiries. Responsible for establishing accurate prioritization of work to provide timely answers to all customers.
