Maintenance & Upgrade Services Director - Material Handing Systems - (Walker, MI)

Seeking strategic individual with a experience in managing an aftermarket parts and service department for logistics automation, high speed automated packaging lines, or similar equipment. Accountabilities: *** Manage department P&L in accordance with annual operating plans, sales goals, and profit targets. *** Anticipate and recommend maintenance, repair, upgrade, and retrofit projects for customer equipment. *** Manage field service teams and schedule service technicians according to project needs. *** Act as the internal technical expert for automated systems and recommend modifications or upgrades for programmable controllers, actuators, sensors, control panels, blades, rotors, shafts, housings, cases, bearings, seals, cooling lines, etc. Requirements: *** Proven work history of success in a similar role contacting customers to recommend post-sale purchase of warranties, upgrades, and routine service plans.
