Warehouse Manager - (Cordele, GA)

Directs the efficient and cost-effective warehouse operation. Manages inbound activities related to the receipt and storage of goods, inventory management, claims and general transportation knowledge. Work with a team of buyers, transportation specialists and our corporate officers to achieve success. Duties: : Directs, plans, assigns, priorities, all aspects of the facility. Knowing and evaluating operational productivity goals, monitoring daily and ensuring goals are achieved on all shifts. Assist in the discipline of drivers Collaborate together with the company and develop outstanding communication for company providing our trucks. Assist in identifying new physical damage and driver accountability of any damage. Knowledge of GPS Systems Background in routing is a plus Assuring the attainment of facility production, quality, and safety objectives Implement strategies for warehouse damages and waste reduction.
