Plant Accountant - Manufacturing Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Preparation of monthly journal entries - Post transactions - Preparation of monthly roll forwards and reconciliations of general ledger accounts - As a result of performing reconciliations, complete any adjusting journal entries necessary to correctly state the general ledger accounts - Analysis of general ledger accounts for unusual variances and make corrections when necessary through re-classes and other adjustments - Assist with ad hoc accounting and financial projects as requested - Document accounting business processes to maintain internal controls Min Qualifications Needed:- 3-5yrs of accounting background - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - Must have manufacturing industry background - Must have background with Standard Costing - Must have strong ability with Oracle NetSuite in a production environment working with standard costing - Strong knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles - CPA
