Description Michelin, the worldwide leader in tires, is hiring! Position details: Michelin is currently searching for a Safety and Environmental Manager at our facility in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The Safety and Environmental Manager manages the Safety/Environmental/Security department and provides ability to the facility in the areas of safety, regulatory compliance, industrial hygiene, workers` compensation, environmental protection, security, fire protection, ergonomics and community relations regarding emergency services organizations. Responsibilities: - Develops, implements and coordinates all Industrial Hygiene, Fire Prevention/Protection, Security and Ergonomic programs. Includes all required training, record keeping, monitoring and reporting including EPA and OSHA reports - Retirement and Savings Plan: Defined contribution retirement account, 401k savings plan with matching, 529 college savings plan - 5-7 yrs of background in safety or related function in a manufacturing environment
