Claims Representative -APD - (Auburn, MA)

Job overview: As front line contact with agents, insureds, and claimants: interprets policies; investigates claims and coverages; settles, determines liability, authorizes/negotiates or denies payment of claims within established authority levels and according to company Claim Philosophy, Best Practices, and Regulatory Qualifications. Obtains written or oral statements from parties involved in claims, documents claims in accordance with regulatory qualifications, and refer files to Special Investigation Unit (SIU) or Subrogration, as needed. Qualifications: The successful applicant will have the following: * Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent work background. * Expertise to obtain all required licenses within three to 6 mnths. * A min of 2yrs background in APD is preferred. * Good written and spoken communication expertise with a passion for helping others. * Strong organizational and technical skills. * Expertise to be a self-starter and work autonomously.
