Position description Provides direction throughout the sourcing process to ensure value is added. Works with divisional purchasing, production control and logistic to improve international sourcing, purchasing and logistic efficiencies Leads and implements sourcing strategy within sourcing and purchasing teams. Position assignments Works with divisional purchasing to coordinate and leverage the total spend through the corporate demand of commodity specific qualifications Interfaces with supplier base review production facility and audits entire supply chains to ensure compliance Manages supplier relationship and improves sourcing processes and procedures Initiates International Supplier Quality Development (on-site surveys, ISIRs, etc.) Provides guidance, direction for sourcing and purchasing team Provides overview for low cost providers / region, risk and trend analysis Performs full range of managerial responsibilities which may include but not be limited to: interviewing, hiring
