Research Programs Consultant - (Iowa City, IA)

The University of Iowa, Center for Computer-Aided Design, is seeking candidates for a full time Research Programs Consultant to provide leadership and coordination for research growth and development. S/he will represent CCAD in building strategic alliances with domestic, governmental, and global partners to identify and promote innovative research opportunities. With senior leadership, the Research Programs Consultant will identify and implement strategic programs, pursue funding opportunities, and support researchers in the development of proposals.A Bachelors degree in Engineering or other technical degree, or an equivalent combination of education and background is required. This position also requires 3 to 5 years of background in business development activities; the ability to effectively present details orally and in writing, and influence behaviors and outcomes; and ability with strategic thinking and planning.
