Research Scientist - Finite Element Analysis/Computational Fluid Dynam - (Riva, MD)

HJF is seeking a Research Scientist - Finite Element Analysis/Computational Fluid Dynamics to support the Structural and Fluid Mechanics group within the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Commands Biotechnology High Performance Computing Software Applications Institute (BHSAI) []. HJF provides scientific, technical, and programmatic support services to the BHSAI. This opening is for dynamic scientists interested in working in an interdisciplinary environment. Responsibilities: Develop and apply computational solutions to biomedical problems involving physiological modeling using finite element analysis (FEA) and/or computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Analyze and model biomechanics data with relevance to, but not limited to, pulmonary health, bone health, heat transfer, and traumatic brain injury using FEA/CFD. Work simultaneously on multiple projects, involving a diverse and interdisciplinary team of scientists across multiple laboratories.
