Firefighter / Paramedic---- Full time The Protection District is currently developing a list for the position of Firefighter / Paramedic. Candidates must possess Firefighter I and II certificates and have a current Arizona Paramedic license. We offer a competitive pay and outstanding benefits package. Starting Pay for the position is from $30,000 plus benefits with incentives for those who hold college degrees. This salary could increase as negotiations are underway with our IAFF Local at this time. We operate from a Berkley type schedule for an average of 56 hours per week. We are looking for experienced personnel in both fire suppression and advanced level EMS transport. The perfect candidate should be a team member with a positive attitude who has a passion for serving the public.
