Caregiver - (Fort Wayne, IN)

The Companion/Homemaker provides non-medical, in-home support and home management services that ensure the comfort, safety, and general supervision of clients. He or she provides companionship to those individuals requiring socialization and min guidance for a safe, protected, clean, and orderly environment. The perfect candidate for this position has a 9th grade education at a min (high-school diploma or GED preferred). Prior work is preferred. He or she must submit to random drug and alcohol testing, must be bondable, and must meet or exceed the min requirements for all minimum experience checks. In addition, he or she has a genuine desire to work with the elderly or disabled, reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, a clean driving history, and current automobile insurance. Fluent English speaking and written correspondence skills, empathy and the expertise to listen, good time management expertise, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.
