Sr Quality Engineer - (Fenton, MI)

The selected applicant will support the quality function at 2 Michigan state-of-the-art, automotive manufacturing facilities, located in Fowlerville and Fenton. Both plants manufacture vehicle stability control systems and related components. This position will be primarily responsible for the following but not limited to: Responsible for effectively researching quality issues associated with production problems to determine and eliminate root causes and diminish occurrences. Support all production activities. This includes working overtime as the business requires and 24/7 availability. Attend all pre-shift meetings as required. Spend, at a min of four hours a day on the production floor, interacting with MA's, TC's, ME's and Techs to ensure quality systems are followed properly. Manage customer issues, including those that develop from vendors. Champion site quality initiatives and resources.
