Quality Manager - (Upper Sandusky, OH)

Quality Manager LOCATION: Galion, OH Income: Up to $85K year SCOPE: The Quality Manager will lead the daily activities and future improvements of the quality department. The Quality Manager implements, improves and maintains the quality management systems, processes and procedures. WHAT WILL YOU NEED: Min of 10 yrs of quality engineering and one or more years of supervision. BS degree or equivalent background. Knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO-9000, TS-16949 and/or AS-9100. ASQ quality certifications are a plus. Strong leadership, communication, continuous improvement, project management and technical skills. RESPONSIBILITIES: Set priorities, plan, schedule, assign work and mentor quality engineers and inspection teammates. Ensure and lead internal/external issue solving activities and corrective actions. Monitors daily, weekly and monthly quality metrics including scrap, rejections, non-conformance issues, quality trends, and cost and customer satisfaction.
