Field Hardware Engineer 3 with Security Clearance - (San Diego, CA)

BSEE in technical field and 6-12yrs specific background or similar background in related position and military technical equivalent. The Field Operations Communications Engineer will be part of a team operating a complex tactical communications system providing voice and data services in a sustained operation located overseas and CONUS. The Primary duties are maintenance of the ground and payload portions of a networked communications system, procedure/report development, and preparing a BACN payload aboard a Global Hawk and/or E-11A to support real world military operations. The applicant will work together with an Active Duty customer as well as internal Northrop Grumman Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). Extended travel to hazardous overseas duty locations is required. Must be able to travel overseas (up to 75%).
