About: Working as part of a global Risk team and reporting directly to the Global Head of Risk, based in New York, the successful candidate will be responsible for reporting on all aspects of risk and performance to US based Portfolio Managers and working closely with the Global Head of Risk. Role: The Risk and Performance team shares day-to-day responsibility for: Detailed risk profiling of funds and strategies Directly engaging with portfolio management on risk and performance issues Providing granular performance measurement for internal and external Marketing purposes Overseeing the management and adherence to exposure limits as applied to funds and strategies. Servicing ad hoc requests from Portfolio Management and Marketing The Risk and Performance team have developed comprehensive proprietary systems and as such the role will routinely involve manipulating and analysing large datasets and therefore suitable applicants will use SQL and ideally be familiar with Matlab.
