Shipping Loader/Unloader - (Tuscaloosa, AL)

POSITION DESCRIPTION Job title: Shipping Loader/Unloader Organizational Unit: CPD Reports to: Shipping Manager Location: Tuscaloosa, Al Date: March, 2017 POSITION SCOPE: Safely operates all assigned equipment to move material. Uses all equipment and effectively completes all paperwork accurately. Prepare all products for damage free shipments. Procedures well established and should be followed. Supervisor readily available as needed. POSITION ASSIGNMENTS: * Operates forklift, squeeze box and clamp truck safely (including charging and maintenance of propane and batteries) Performs daily PM checklist. * Load/Unload trucks and rail cars. * Operate SAP system to check inventory, locations, WIP and production schedule to accurately retrieve material from the job pick lists. * Knowledgeable of SAP procedures for movement of materials and be able to complete efficiently and accurately * Work with other material handlers, operators and assistants to keep production areas serviced.
